I would like to establish a company, what is the procedure?

- Access the Saudi Business Center platform.
- Select the "Company Establishment" service, choose the company type, complete the service fields, and submit the application.
- Verification messages will be sent to the partners to authenticate the contract. If any approval is not electronic, manual authentication will be required.
- After partner approval, a payment invoice number will be issued.
- Once the payment is completed, the company's Articles of Association will be issued, the Commercial Registration will be generated, and the contract will be published electronically.

​A family name can be reserved if the name is composed of two or more family names, provided that the beneficiaries of the reservation share the same family name as stated in their personal identification documents.​

Is it permissible to carry out periodic maintenance outside of the authorized dealership?


Periodic maintenance can be conducted at the service centers specified by the manufacturer as outlined in the owner's manual. 
It is important to note that if maintenance invoices are available, the vehicle will remain covered under warranty.​


Is there a minimum withdrawal amount for "Mada" card transactions?

​There is no minimum withdrawal amount for "Mada" card transactions. However, if a business entity sets a minimum limit, a commercial complaint can be filed through the designated application. In this case, all the necessary details such as the entity's location and a comprehensive description of the complaint should be provided. ​

What procedure should be followed if the size and weight of a product differ from the information stated on the packaging?

​It is mandatory for food and essential commodities to adhere to accurate and consistent size and weight specifications as indicated on the product packaging. ​

How does the manufacturer's warranty for product quality remain valid?

​The manufacturer's warranty for product quality remains valid on the condition that any defects or malfunctions do not arise due to consumer misuse, failure to comply with usage instructions, accidents, or neglecting to perform required maintenance. This warranty coverage extends to the product itself.​

Am I entitled to request a substitute vehicle in the event of a recall?

​When scheduling an appointment for a recalled vehicle, the repair procedures should not exceed one working day. If the necessary spare parts are unavailable, and the consumer is unable to utilize the vehicle, they are entitled to receive a replacement vehicle or financial compensation.​

What is meant by a "counterfeit product"?

​Commercial fraud encompasses any product that has undergone alterations or tampering, resulting in a decrease in its material or intangible value. Such alterations may include additions, subtractions, manufacturing deviations, or any other form of manipulation.​

I have purchased a product that exhibits manufacturing defects. What are my rights in this regard?

​Should any manufacturing defects or malfunctions be identified in a product still under warranty, you have the right to approach the authorized dealer for remedial actions. In the event of non-compliance or refusal to address the matter, you have the option to lodge a complaint via the "Commercial Complaint" application, providing comprehensive details of the complaint.​

I have an electrical device that has undergone multiple repairs due to recurring defects. What are my rights in this scenario?

If the number of repairs conducted on your electrical or electronic device for recurring defects exceeds twice, you are entitled to request a replacement or a refund, thereby recovering its original value.



Are all e-service fields filled in automatically when applying for services?

By logging in through the Ministry of Commerce system or the unified national access, the basic fields are filled in automatically

Is there a strategy for the security of the portal and its systems?

The Ministry of Commerce applies approved security policies, procedures and standards that are reviewed and updated periodically, and are in line with the frameworks and controls issued by the National Cybersecurity Authority and relevant national legislation. The best global practices and standards in cybersecurity are also applied, such as (ISO 27001) for the information security management system, which contributes to enhancing and protecting the information assets of all services provided by the Ministry from potential cyber risks.

What are the requirements for obtaining a professional license?

1- The applicant must be a Saudi citizen or a national of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) countries.
2- The applicant must not hold a government job under the civil service system.
3- If the applicant is a military employee, a letter from the military entity stating the work experience is required.
4- The applicant must hold at least a bachelor's degree from a recognized university or college in the Kingdom or any other foreign qualification equivalent to a Saudi bachelor's degree as assessed by the Ministry of Education. If the academic qualification obtained from a Saudi institution issued in English, it must be translated by a certified translation office.
5- The academic qualification must be related to the profession for which the license is sought.
6- The work experience must be documented in the General Organization for Social Insurance (GOSI) or the Masar service (Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development) and must be consistent with the academic qualification and related to the profession for which the license is sought, along with a certificate from the entity confirming the work experience and job title in Arabic.
7- The applicant must accumulate the required number of points for a professional license based on the academic qualification and work experience.
