An electronic service provided by the Ministry of Commerce through the Saudi Business Center platform that allows beneficiaries to transfer a trade name registered in the commercial register to an establishment, acting independently of the store, without the need to visit service centers.

Required Documents

Access the platform: Via the National Unified Access through the Saudi Business Center platform.
Select the service: From "Doing Business" > "Ministry of Commerce" > "Assigning a Trade Name to a Sole Proprietorship".
Start the service: Review and agree to the terms of service, then click "Apply for Service".
Enter beneficiary information: Select the type of beneficiary of the trade name, then enter their details.
Enter an alternative trade name: Select the name type (personal, existing, reserved) and enter its details as desired.
Review and submit the application: Review the application summary, approve the declaration, then submit the application.
Process: The application is sent to the Ministry of Commerce for review, and the application status is updated according to the procedure (approval, rejection, or re-amendment).
Payment (if applicable): If fees apply, the invoice is issued and paid through the central payment system.
Complete the application: After payment or approval (in the case of a free service), the trade name is published and the application status is changed to "Complete".

The applicant or the beneficiary must not be less than 18 years old.
The applicant or the beneficiary should not be a government employee.
The name is not a personal name.
The applicant must be the owner of the institution or delegate him through the Tawafafi platform.
That the name be restricted in an active commercial record.
The assignment has the same family name, if the trade name is a family.
