The Ministry of Commerce Defames a Branch of an Est. for Violating the Terms and Conditions of Discounts, and for not placing the Commercial Data on the Products in Hail

The Ministry of Commerce has defamed a branch of an Est. specialized in the trade of fabrics and textiles in Hail, following a court ruling convicting the facility of violating the Anti-Commercial Fraud Law and the Commercial Data System by not adhering to the terms and conditions of sales licensing, as the prices were not registered before and after the discounts, in addition to the violation of not placing the commercial data on the offered products.

The Ministry has published a summary of the judicial ruling issued by the Criminal Court in Hail, including imposing a fine, also defamation by publishing the verdict in a local newspaper at the expense of the violator.

Notably, the Ministry of Commerce has provided the service of issuing sales licenses for commercial establishments online, with the aim of eliminating fake and misleading promotions, in addition to implementing inspection tours to monitor the facilities' compliance with the controls and conditions for conducting promotions and discounts.
