MCI inspection teams confiscated 1300 secondhand tires from the commercial shops
 
MCI Closed a warehouse in Hafer Al Batin working on renewing used tires through spraying special materials on them and deceiving the consumers of their quality. MCI teams confiscated more than 1,300 secondhand tires  in a number of shops , exhibitions and warehouses in Hafer Al Batin , which were selling used and expired  tires, the offenders were summoned for  investigation  and taking the  legal procedures against them.

MCI inspection teams had held the offending warehouse during the  sudden inspection tours on a number of shops specialized  in selling tires , where they found  a number of foreign labors working on  repairing and renewing damaged tires by spraying special materials on them and then marketing these tires to the shops, which is considered a risk to the consumers.

It is worth mentioning that MCI has been carrying out intensive campaigns on counterfeit and copied consuming goods in the markets,  in an effort to protect  the consumers from their  dangers , to punish the offenders and to stop such violations.         
                               
MCI stresses that it will not tolerate with those touting and pro​moting  fake or counterfeit goods , particularly that threaten the health and safety of the consumers and it will apply the necessary penalties  against the violators  . 

MCI would like to confirm that it will continue the inspection tours on  markets , warehouses , shops , factories and all commercial establishments , to ensure their regular work .
