MCI control teams have carried out inspection rounds on 900 petrol stations to check and verify their compliance on selling fuel to consumers on Tuesday morning. The inspection and control rounds resulted in detecting more than 170 petrol stations, refrained from selling fuel. Notably, the percentage of violations reached 20% of the total visits.
MCI responded to the consumers` reports and did its best to verify the commitment of petrol stations with the new fuel prices, identified by the cabinet decision, issued yesterday 17.03.1437 AH, and to ensure the absence of fraud and manipulation on consumers.
MCI would like to emphasize that it will not tolerate in imposing the legal penalties on the stations, not committed to the new fuel prices set up by the competent authorities.
