H.E. Dr. Al Qassabi Honors Two MCI Employees, the first donated his kidney to save the life of a 6-year-old girl, and the other donated his kidney to his father to end his suffering with Renal Failure

His Excellency the Minister of Commerce and Investment, Dr. Majid bin Abdullah Al Qassabi, honors today two employees at the Ministry’s Headquarter for donating their Kidneys to Save the lives of two people suffering of Renal Failure.

H.E. Dr. Al-Qassabi hailed and praised the humanitarian step taken by the two MCI employees: Mr. Mahdi Al-Amri has donated his kidney to his father who has been suffering from renal failure, and MR. Mohammed Al-Sihati has donated his kidney to a 6-year-old girl, whom he has never known or met before.

H.E. Al-Qassabi expressed his thanks and appreciation to the noble employees for their kind humanitarian initiative they have offered. H.E. prays Almighty Allah to accept their kind and generous donation, wishing that this donation to be a kind of motivation for further good deeds.

Mr. Al-Sehati said that he was one of the first participants in the charitable campaign “Na’amat” for the unconditional donation of kidneys, carried by Sehat Society for Social Services. Mr. Al Sehati expressed his desire to donate his kidney to one of the patients, giving by this action the most impressive picture of altruism.

Mr. Al-Sihati and other donors helped to save the lives of seven people, including the girl, suffering of renal failure through the Reciprocal Donation Program at King Fahd Specialist Hospital in Dammam.

For his part, MR. Al-Omari said that he was very happy for the successful operation done to his father, and now his dad can lead a normal life. Mr. Al Omari prays Almighty Allah to grant his dad health and wellness, and to help him serve his dad more and more.

This award and honoring comes within MCI initiatives for the humanitarian work and social responsibility, and as part of its tradition in giving thanks and appreciation and rewarding good deeds.
