The Minister of Trade and Investment, Dr. Majid bin Abdullah Al Qasabi launch the smartphone application "Maroof" for electronic stores last Sunday. This application is one of the ministry of trade and investment's initiatives within the National Transformation 2020 program plans that MCI worked on in the year 2016, in collaboration with the private sector, represented by Thiqa company for business services to develop and operator "Maroof."

The ministry pointed out that "Maroof" service is contributing in introducing more than 5,000 Saudi e-stores in a smart way, which will help in supporting these shops by marketing them for free and increase their reliability.

"Maroof" gives the buyers the opportunity to assess these registered shops and comment on them, with access to all electronic platforms used by the store.

The new smart devices application "Maroof" will market the electronic stores in a larger, easy way and allow the access to the biggest department stores.

MCI encouraged the dealers in e-commerce, whether they are sellers or buyers to take advantage of this app features and visit the web site maroof.sa or download the new application for Apple Store using the link: click here
