H.E. the Minister of Commerce and Industry Dr. Tawfiq bin Fawzan Al Rabiah expressed his deepest and sincere congratulation to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz, (May Allah bless him), and to the Crown Prince, His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Nayef, and to Deputy Crown Prince, His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdul Aziz on the occasion of approving the Kingdom's Vision 2030.
H.E. the Minister added that the vision of the national transformation of the kingdom for the post-oil economic plan 2030 paid great attention to the development of commercial and industrial sectors in the Kingdom, H.E. referred to the role of the Council of Economic Affairs and Development, under the leadership of the Deputy Crown Prince, His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdul Aziz in laying the foundations and rules of the largest sustainable development plan in the history of the kingdom.
H.E. the Minister indicated that the National Vision 2030 addressed raising the contribution of GDP of the kingdom, as well as stimulating major Saudi companies to be cross-border and a key player in the world markets, also the development of small and medium enterprises, this would be considered the best investment for the national economy, and this great step would develop the non-oil exports of the Kingdom. Consequently, creating job opportunities for citizens.
H.E. the Minister said that the National Vision 2030 will focus on the development of the local industry, and this would achieve substantial economic returns for the Saudi economy, H.E. added that the Ministry will endeavor and do its best to overcome all the obstacles and barriers facing the development process, and this would contribute in providing an attractive and promising industrial environment, stressing that the achievement of the vision goals requires joining the efforts of all governmental institutions and private sector, so that to achieve the future vision of the Kingdom of being a real developing actor for the welfare of the Saudi citizen.
