Specialist teams from the Ministry of Commerce are conducting inspection rounds across auto showrooms and car salesrooms to determine the exact number of new cars on the market as well as inventory levels, and compare the numbers to those available in auto dealerships.
The teams began visiting automotive dealerships, showrooms, and salesrooms last week, and they will continue to do so across all cities and governorates. They scrutinized all business practices, as well as data and information about new automobiles, including their models and pricing. The visits included looking at warehouses and vehicle inventories as well.
