The Arar Chamber of Commerce kicked off its Board of Directors election process this Sunday, November 19, 2023, at 8:00 AM. The elections, set to conclude at 8:00 PM on Monday, are being held under a new, more transparent and efficient commercial chamber law.
This year's election sees 7 candidates, including a notable businesswoman, vying for four of the eight available board seats.
In preparation, the Ministry of Commerce, through its Supervisory Committee, has conducted meetings with the candidates to discuss the election process, rules, and necessary conduct to ensure fair and equitable campaigning.
The Ministry underscores the importance of fair competition, adherence to regulations, and mutual respect among candidates, emphasizing that election campaigns should be conducted without influencing or disrupting each other's efforts.
