The Ministry of Commerce, Al-Qassim Branch Carried out 300 Inspection Rounds to Verify the Availability of Commodities and Food Stocks, it does respond to 60 Complaints daily in Al Qassim Region

The Ministry of Commerce inspection teams continue their inspection tours in all regions of the Kingdom to verify the availability and abundance of commodities and food stock in markets and outlets. The Ministry’s branch in Qassim carries out 300 daily inspection tours in Qassim region and its affiliate provinces. Notably, 60 reports and complaints are received from consumers, necessary action is taken, and legal penalties are imposed against the violators.

The inspection tours included Buraidah, Unaizah, Al-Rass, Al-Muthnab, Al-Bukayriyah, Al-Badai'a, Al-Asiyah, Al-Nabhaniyah, Ayoun Al-Jawa, Riyad Al-Khubara, Al-Shammasia, Aqlat Al-Suqour, Dhariyah, as well as the affiliate centers and villages.

The results of the inspection tours showed the availability and abundance of the necessary food products and supplies, also an adequate stock that meets the consumers’ need, besides stability of the prices.

The Ministry of Commerce urges all consumers to report and lodge their complaints against the violating establishments and outlets through the Consumer Call Center (1900), or through the application of a Commercial Violation Report, or via the Ministry’s website.
