His Excellency the Minister of Trade and Investment, Dr. Majid bin Abdullah Al-Qasabi met in his office at the Ministry on Sunday morning, the Minister of Foreign Affairs and Trade of Ireland Mr. Charles Flanagan.
Dr. Al-Qasabi display the relations between the two countries and the means to increase trade cooperation between them in the fields of medical technology, health care, telecommunications, information technology, agriculture and food.
Dr. Al-Qasabi also briefed the minister on the advantages that Saudi Arabia granted to the foreign investors inviting the Irish companies to seize the investment opportunities that the Kingdom's provide in align with the Saudi Vision 2030.
The two sides discussed the Irish experience in the field of small and medium enterprises development during the meeting and talk about the ways that will enable the kingdom to benefit from them.
The volume of trade exchange between Saudi Arabia and Ireland for 2015 was more than five billion riyals.
