MCI control teams have carried out 13,270 inspection tours on commercial establishments and outlets in Makkah, Madinah and the Holy Places during the period 01 – 10, Dhu al-Hijjah, 1440 AH, as part of the Ministry's plan for the current Hajj season 1440 H.
The inspection and control tours covered Makkah, Madinah and the Holy Places. The inspected sites included: 10,564 shops, 366 gold and jewelry stores, 271 motor tire workshops, 230 petrol stations, in addition to 1,599 bakeries, 134 food trucks, 106 catering vehicles roaming the Holy places.
The field tours conducted by MCI inspection and control teams showed the abundance of foodstuffs, juices, refreshments and mineral water that would meet the requirements and needs of the pilgrims, while they are in the Holy Places to perform pilgrimage during the current Hajj season 1440 H.
