The National Anti-Commercial Concealment Program has updated over 450,000 commercial registrations by linking them with corresponding commercial bank accounts.
This data rectification process led to the issuance of 6,000 new goods transportation licenses, all verified for their connection to commercial registers within the transportation sector. Moreover, more than 650,000 municipal licenses were revoked due to lack of renewal.
In its efforts, the Program carried out 85,783 inspection visits, targeting establishments based on specific indicators and suspicions of concealment activities.
To enhance the handling of concealment issues, a specialized department focusing on commercial concealment cases has been established within the criminal courts.
For raising public awareness, Friday sermons in mosques across the Kingdom were dedicated to educating about the dangers and implications of commercial concealment crimes.
