The Ministry of Trade and Investment participated in the Sixth Conference of the safety and fire prevention under the slogan "commitment to safety and standards is national duty ", which was organized by the Saudi Council of Engineers in Dammam, under the patronage of His Royal Highness Prince Saud bin Nayef bin Abdulaziz, Governor of the Eastern Province.
The ministry was represented by the general manager of Engineering Management Mr. Mohammed Waili, who on the sidelines of the conference, visited the exhibition and meet many representatives of specialized companies in the materials and tools of fire prevention and safety training, and welcome the cooperation with these companies in the field of training programs to raise the level of efficiency of the performance of the employees concerned projects in the areas of safety or security.
The conference participants reviewed more than 60 scientific paper work in the field of safety and fire prevention, and discuss the importance of raising the level of specifications and standards in projects and facilities to ensure the protection of users and properties. and the apply the safety code, which includes a range of specialized systems for technical and scientific buildings, stressing on the importance of using engineering rules and study the construction materials in the facilities.
