The Ministry of Commerce has launched new services for joint-stock and foreign companies via its digital branch, aiming to facilitate the process of starting up a business and incentivize business environment.

The Ministry said that the new services for joint stock included the formation of a joint stock company, the conversion to a joint-stock company, the issuance of no-objection letters to listed joint-stock companies, the issuance of a ministerial decision announcing the formation or conversion of the company into a joint stock company.

The new services also made it possible to form foreign or mixed companies, issue foreign company branches, renew, modify, and delete foreign company commercial registers, and request a commercial register extract for foreign companies.

All of these services can be completed online and there is no need to visit the Ministry's headquarters.

The Ministry's digital branch provides 86 services to businesses. Electronic services are available at the following link:  ‏e.mc.gov.sa
