MC Announces Victory of Six Candidates in Madinah Chamber Elections

The supervisory committee overseeing the elections for the board members of the Chamber of Commerce in Madinah for the term (1445-1449 H) has announced the election results. The voting process concluded on Wednesday, December 6, 2023, and it was conducted using an electronic voting system in line with the regulations of the Chambers of Commerce. These regulations aim to enhance transparency and improve the performance of the chambers.

The results of the voting for the Chamber's board of directors revealed that six candidates emerged victorious in the elections. These successful candidates are: Naif Oudah Mohammed Al-Harbi, Naif Mubayrik Mubarak Al-Jaberi, Issam Salem Mohammed Al-Hilali, Abdullah Mohammed Ahmed Al-Nazawi Al-Juhani, Khalid Ruwaifid Manawar Al-Saadi, and Hazem Abdullah Mohsen Al-Saqeeri.

The Elections Committee emphasized that the voting process was conducted in accordance with organizational procedures, utilizing modern technology for both the election and voting processes. It allowed individual voting for voters and group voting for members of the board of directors.

Under the regulations of the Chambers of Commerce and their executive guidelines, the Ministry of Commerce oversees the elections of the boards of directors of the Chambers of Commerce. The primary goal is to enhance transparency and improve the chambers' overall performance. Additionally, the Ministry monitors the commitment of the candidates to fair competition and ensures that the rights of other candidates, including their election campaigns, are not unduly influenced.
