His Excellency the Minister of Commerce and Investment, Dr. Majid bin Abdullah Al-Qasabi, shows his great concern and wants to rest himself assured of the health of MCI judicial control officer who was shot on his foot on Thursday 05.10.2017 while performing his duties and field inspection in Buraidah city.
While accompanying the delegation of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques to Russia, H.E. the Minister of Commerce and Investment called the inspector who was shot in Buraidah, stressing his keenness and great concern on the safety of MCI inspectors. H.E. promised to follow-up the case and the relevant investigating with the security authorities. H. E. expressed his pride and gratitude to MCI inspectors who are facing the violators and combating the commercial fraud which cause damage and harm to the National Economy.
For his part, MCI inspector Al-Rashidi expressed his thanks and appreciation to His Excellency Dr. Al-Qasabi for his call, stressing that this shameful act will not deter him and his colleagues from continuing their noble duties in monitoring and inspecting the markets and shops, and they will do their best to eliminate any irregularities and violations that may harm the homeland and its National Economy.
