The Ministry of Commerce announced that the number of registers issued to arts, entertainment, and leisure sector in the Asir region has experienced a robust growth of 69% in the first half of 2023. The total number of commercial registrations reached 120, up from 71 during the same period in 2022. Presently, there are 611 active commercial registrations in this sector in the Asir region.

- Entertainment activities
- Museums and historical buildings
- Botanical gardens, zoos, and natural reserves
- Amusement and theme parks
- Activities of sports clubs
Aligning with the aspirations of Saudi Vision 2030 and the Quality of Life Program, the arts, entertainment, and leisure sector is poised to play a pivotal role. The emphasis is on enhancing the quality of life for individuals and families, generating job opportunities, and invigorating economic diversity.
