1500 KG of Rotten Foodstuffs Destroyed, in Makkah-based warehouses

Being non valid for consumption, due to bad storing
 
As many as 1500 kg of rotten foodstuffs, invalid for consumption, due to bad storing conditions, have been destroyed, recently, in Makkah, by MCI inspection teams.
 
Other quantity weighing 9800 kg, have been also, sent to the labs, to check its validity, to protect consumers.
Destroyed food stuffs included olives, pickles, jam, cake and big ice cream pack.
 
MCI recalled the owners of the warehouse, before filing the case to the investigating authorities, while the field teams of inspection are running extensive checkup rounds at the marketplaces.
 
On the other hand, MCI reaffirmed, it will continue with such inspection round, in marketplaces, warehouses and installations to guarantee malpractices' free markets.
