An electronic service provided by the Ministry of Commerce through the Saudi Business Center platform that allows beneficiaries to submit a request to transfer ownership of a commercial registration to or from another person, without the need to visit service centers.

Steps for transferring ownership of a commercial register to a sole proprietorship by the current owner: 1. Click Start Service. 2. Log in to the account via the unified national access or log in for investors who do not hold a Saudi ID or residency. 3. Select the service: From "Doing Business" > "Ministry of Commerce" > "Transferring Ownership of a Commercial Register to a Sole Proprietorship." 4. Select the register to be transferred and click Continue. 5. Start the service: Review the terms and requirements, then agree and click Apply for the service. 6. Select the status of retaining the trade name and click Continue. 7. Fill in the information of the new proprietor and click Save. Enter the mobile number and email, add the national address, attach a copy of the ID, and click Continue. 8. Review the application summary and confirm the accuracy of all entered data and click Submit Application. 9. Enter the verification code sent to your mobile phone and click Verify. A message will appear stating that the application was successfully submitted.
Transferring Ownership of a Commercial Register to a Sole Proprietorship by the new owner: 1. Click Start Service. 2. Log in to the account via the unified national access or log in for investors who do not hold a Saudi ID. They hold a Saudi ID or residency 3- Click on the mailbox ">" Click on procedures ">" Undertaking to transfer all obligations related to the current owner's account ">" 4- Click on accept the request 5- Modify the data of the old business owner ">" Commercial activity (optional) ">" Commercial licenses (optional) ">" Add e-commerce business data (optional) ">" Add capital details (optional) ">" Keep the previous trade name or modify it (optional) ">" Modify the national address (optional) ">" Modify contact information ">" Modify the manager's data (optional) 6- Review the application summary and approve the validity of all entered data 7- Click on (Submit application).

The commercial register must be active.
The new owner must not have a commercial register for a sole proprietorship.
The new owner must not be a government employee and must be at least 18 years old.
The commercial register name must not be in the personal name of the transferor.

The following must be verified if the person is deceased: Submission of a certificate of inheritance - Submission of a guardianship deed if there are minors among the heirs - A legal power of attorney from all heirs explicitly stating the transfer of the establishment - A sale and transfer contract from the heirs that includes the commercial registration details.
