Factories Involved in Storing Spoiled Foodstuffs Exposed, in Jeddah

MCI teams managed to destroyed a number of factories and warehouse in Southern Jeddah, involved in storing rotten, expired and without tags foodstuffs, immediately, and called their managers, for more investigation. 
 
Furthermore, it checked out also, a number of violations to the rules of the public hygiene, in regard to storing, cooling and other aspects. 
 
Inspection teams have raised up their rounds, prior to the season of Ramadan. In this respect, it sent a number of samples of seized foodstuffs to laboratories to verify their validity.         
 
Among destroyed commodities 132 barrels of Glucose, 4 tins of olives, 39 bottles of Lemon flavor, 30 cans of honey, 6 palm oil cans, in addition to other nuts and edible oils.
 
On the other hand, MCI reaffirmed, it will continue with such inspection round, in marketplaces, warehouses and installations to guarantee malpractices' free markets.
