His Excellency the Minister of Commerce and Industry Dr. TAWFIG FAWZAN ALRABIAH met the Ministers of Trade of NewZealand and SriLanka on the sidelines of the Ministerial Conference of the World Trade Organization, held in the resort of Bali, Indonesia.
During the meeting, they discussed the trade and industrial relations and means of developing such relations, taking advantage of the available opportunities and benefits, the promotion of trade and industrial cooperation by encouraging the private sector to establish joint commercial and industrial projects.
The meeting was attended by the Undersecretary of Foreign Trade Dr / Fahd bin Ahmed Abu Haimid , and the Resident Representative of the World Trade Organization in Geneva , Dr. Abdulaziz Al-Otaibi , and the Advisor of the Ministry of Petroleum , Dr. Naif Al-Otaibi .
It is worth mentioning that the volume of trade exchange between the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and New Zealand reached in 2012 to (4463 ) million, of which ( 3073 ) million riyalsthe Kingdom's exports to New Zealand and (1390 ) million riyals the imports of the Kingdom ,and with Sri Lanka, reached in 2012 to 2178 million, of which ( 1906) million riyals the Kingdom's exports to Sri Lanka and ( 272 ) million riyals the Kingdom's imports.
