His Excellency the Minister of Commerce and Industry Dr. TAWFIG FAWZAN ALRABIAH , stated that the new budget for K.S.A. , which is announced today, bearing great welfare for the Saudi citizens and supports the performance of the Saudi economy significantly in all sectors , adding : "The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques advised me during my meeting with him yesterday, to take care of the citizens and their interests, to promote fair business competition ,to control over the commercial markets and to apply the regulations firmly".
The Minister pointed out that MCI will implement the directives of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, and will face any practices that may harm the market and the citizens, and will continue the development in its business to achieve the aspirations of the K.S.A. leadership and whatever the Saudi citizen is looking forward to.
The Minister added: " These figures and indicators contained in the State's General Budget for the new fiscal year 1435 / 1436 AH come under the attention and care of the Saudi leadership in all that serve the development of the country , the decent life for the citizens and building a country with a strong economy ."
According to His Excellency the Minister, both the commercial and industrial sectors have got great interest in the new budget, this is in regard to their enormous expansion in the recent years, saying that this embodies the vision of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques that the Industry is a strategic option to diversify the sources of income, as well as the two sectors have both a significant role in the sustainable and balanced development.
