Introducing Licensed Sales & Promotions to Consumers
H.E. the Minister of Commerce and Investment, Dr. Majid bin Abdullah Al Qasabi has Inaugurated on Tuesday, 03.05.1438 AH corresponding to 31.01.2017 AD in his office the application of “SALES", which aims to introduce all the Commercial Sales and Special Offers licensed by the Ministry, in an easy and accessible way to consumers via their smart devices. The new application is considered one of the services supervised and sponsored by the Ministry, while the operation & development is run by Thiqa Co. for Business Services.
SALES Application is considered the main source to know all the licensed and updated Commercial Sales and Promotions in the Kingdom. Only you have to search directly in MCI database, which currently contains more than 27 thousand selling outlets and more than 700 thousand licensed products on SALES, in various regions of the Kingdom.
This application aims to save the consumers’ effort and time in searching for the appropriate SALES & Special Offers and to protect them against fake promotions and Sales.
Notably, this application has many features, such as searching for any foodstuffs, consuming items or any shops the consumer is interested in, with the ability of getting the discount rate and the duration of such promotions. The consumers can also access the SALES & Promotions locations through GPS. This service enables the consumer to find out all the Promotions & SALES nearby his location.
