The Ministry of Commerce hosted the Mobile Exhibition for Cybersecurity Awareness on Tuesday at its headquarters in Riyadh.
Organized by the National Cybersecurity Authority (NCA), the exhibition is running through next Thursday.
It aims to increase public awareness of cybersecurity, help personnel of national authorities safeguard the confidentiality of sensitive data, and help organizations reduce cybersecurity threats, all of which support efforts to maintain national security Kingdom-wide.
The exhibition will promote awareness of cybersecurity threats and new hacking techniques that are always evolving. Additionally, it also aims to build a robust cybersecurity culture within the workforce of the national authorities hosting this event. Most importantly, it supports government agencies that are working to improve and strengthen cybersecurity in the Kingdom.
The exhibition includes a variety of activities, such as live simulation activities demonstrating the most well-known hacking techniques and an explanation of the impact of cybersecurity breaches. A cybersecurity clinic will be set up to assess cybersecurity knowledge using a variety of interactive ways. The cyber clinic provides counseling and answers cybersecurity questions.
