The Ministry of Commerce said a commercial register of any establishment can only be canceled via the Saudi Business Center’s Unified Platform, which may be accessed at
https://www.saudibusiness.gov.sa. The platform will serve as the sole information hub for business sector services in the entire Kingdom.
The Center's platform and physical branches offer services from the Ministry of Commerce, the Ministry of Investment, the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development, the Ministry of Municipal and Rural Affairs, and Housing, the Zakat Tax and Customs Authority, the General Organization of Social Insurance, and the Council of Saudi Chambers, as well as access to services from 58 government entities providing business-related services.
The Centre offers over 750 services in one location, including issuing and amending registers, business licenses, and certificates of origin; contract and transaction documentation; data transfer and update; appointment and registration of employees and authorized persons; transfer of ownership and sponsorship; visa issuance; and tax return, zakat, and social insurance services. These services are provided by the Center's 16 branches, which are located in 13 cities across the Kingdom.
The Center's primary objective is to improve the country's economic climate by suggesting new policies and processes, analyzing existing ones, and streamlining them to make them more succinct and cost-effective in line with international standards.
