MC: Recall of 5,560 Honda vehicles for seat belt problem

29 May 2023

The Ministry of Commerce has announced the recall of 5,560 Honda vehicles, including the Accord and CR-V models from 2018-2019, as well as the 2019 Odyssey model. This recall is being issued due to a potential defect in the seat belt lock, which could result in difficulty or inability to properly fasten the seat belt, thereby increasing the risk of accidents.

Owners are advised to check if their vehicle's chassis number is included in the recall by visiting the Defective Product Recall Center website (Recalls.sa). If their vehicle is affected, they should contact Abdullah Hashim Company Ltd, the local dealer, to arrange the necessary free repairs, which will be provided at no cost to the owners.
