MCI pointed out that, based on what was reported to the Notification Center (1900) in the Ministry, regarding the complaints from some citizens about the presence of solids and white granules in the infant milk BIOMIL PLUS No. 3, the Ministry has communicated with the General Authority for Food and Drug in this regard, and where it has been ascertained of the presence of these sediments in two batches:

Since, this is a workmanship defect that requires the withdrawal of such product from the markets, the Ministry of Commerce and Industry calls for the discontinuation of using such product and returning it to the sale outlet where it had been purchased to restore its price, even if it was used in part or in full. The owners of the shops and sale outlets can refer to the commercial agent for compensation. MCI also requests from all sale outlets to stop selling it immediately, and that the Ministry will start Surveillance Rounds to ensure that the markets are free from such product and to punish the violators.

MCI calls on all the consumers to report their complaints to the Notification Center at the Ministry on the phone No. 1900.
