The Ministry of Commerce published the opinions and proposals submitted regarding the amendment of Article Ten of the Executive Regulations of the Commercial Chambers Law, posted on the “Istitlaa” platform. The amendment aims to achieve flexibility in circulating decisions and enhancing their efficiency, in a manner that contributes to focus and quick decision-making; to ensure the quality of membership by concentrating representation on qualified individuals in the commercial and industrial sectors; and to enhance engagement with the private sector by facilitating follow-up on the implementation of decisions and recommendations, and enabling direct dialogue with businesspeople and representatives of various sectors. It also aims to achieve flexibility in adapting to economic and regulatory changes, digital transformation, electronic voting mechanisms, and virtual meetings.
