Over the last two days in India, Dr. Majid Abdullah Al-Qasabi, the Saudi Minister of Commerce and Chairman of the Board of Directors of the General Authority for Foreign Trade, participated in 12 separate meetings with ministers and officials from the G20 countries. These meetings took place on the sidelines of the G20 Trade and Investment Ministers' meeting.
During these meetings, Al-Qasabi interacted with several prominent figures, including: Piyush Goyal, the Indian Minister of Commerce and Industry; Dr. Ahn Duk-geun, the Korean Trade Minister; Dr. Zulkifli Hasan, the Indonesian Trade Minister; Gan Kim Yong, the Singaporean Minister of Trade and Industry; Dr. Omer Bolat, the Turkish Trade Minister; Tipu Munshi, the Bangladeshi Trade Minister; Kemi Badenoch, the British Secretary of Statefor Business and Trade; Dr. Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala, the Director-General of the World Trade Organization; Wang Shouwen, the Chinese Vice Minister of Commerce; Katherine Tai, the US Trade Representative; Cecilia Todesca, the Secretary of International Economic Relations at the Argentine Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Trade and Religions; and Marcio Rosa, the Executive Secretary of the Brazilian Ministry of Development, Industry, Trade, and Services.
The focus of these bilateral discussions was on fostering relationships, bolstering trade and economic collaboration, and identifying and transforming opportunities into meaningful partnerships.
