MCI inspection teams seized more than (20) thousand blank checks during raiding an Establishment engaged in selling by installments without a license or Commercial Registration in the province of Qassim, Onaiza Governorate.

This comes within the Ministry's efforts to track those practicing selling by installment without a license or commercial registration. After carrying out the necessary investigation, MCI inspectors with the support of the security forces raided an office for General Contracting, registered under the name of a Saudi woman, used by a person for carrying out business by installment, without license or C.R.  More than (20) thousand checks, for clients signed in blank, were seized. These checks will be referred to the Saudi Arabian Monetary Agency for taking the necessary legal procedures.

During the inspection of the establishment, MCI inspectors seized also contracts for selling by installments, bonds and more than (50) ATM cards for clients to be used for collecting the monthly installments.

Meanwhile, the illegal Establishment was shut down immediately, and the owner was summoned by MCI for taking the necessary proceedings.
