The Ministry of Commerce has taken Specific Measures to Stimulate the Commercial Environment and to empower the Private Sector

The Ministry of Commerce has implemented several measures and reforms aimed at stimulating the commercial environment and empowering the private sector. This is to go in line with the objectives of the Kingdom's Vision 2030.

In this context, the period of establishing companies was reduced from 15 days to 30 minutes only, and the requirement for subsidiary C.R. was canceled for the establishments that practice the same activity in the same region.

 The Ministry provided the service for documenting and authenticating the contracts online, after it was a requirement and a condition to attend the Ministry’s headquarters for documentation, as well as the Ministry launched the service for amending the partners ’decisions online.

Also the Ministry provided the service for identifying the Commercial Establishment Data online through the service of your commercial code (QR Code).

The Ministry also made it possible to obtain the commercial registration in the English language online, as well as the Ministry made the C.R. data available for the business sector free of charge.

In order to facilitate the procedures for male and female voters, the Ministry launched online voting for the Chamber of Commerce and Industry elections, which had a significant impact on increasing the number of voters.
