MCI is the First to Implement an Integrated Electronic System Supporting Smart Devices to follow up the Initiatives of the Kingdom’s Vision 2030 Office
H.E. Minister of Commerce and Investment, Dr. Majid Al-Qassabi, inaugurated on Sunday morning 23.07.2017 the performance measurement e-panel for MCI strategic projects, which follows up the performance indicators of MCI and its strategic objectives associated with the Kingdom’s Vision 2030 and the Transformation Program 2020. This e-panel will display the performance of different MCI initiatives, objectives and strategic projects with full integration among these activities, to monitor, follow up and measure the performance and the progress of such activities electronically and proactively, thus enhancing the performance of MCI System and raising its productivity.
During the inauguration, H.E. Dr. Al-Qasabi stressed that this e-panel to be monitored and followed-up permanently, and the results to be presented in the MCI periodic meetings in order to raise following-up process and to support relevant projects and objectives, thus ensuring its proper and best use.
This e-panel is considered one of the supportive tools provided by MCI Office for the realization of the Kingdom’s Vision 2030. This performance measurement panel aims to display directly the status of initiatives, projects and their relevant performance indicators, associated with MCI strategic agenda, which is automatically generating data through the project management systems. This e-panel is available through various internet browsers and through the application on mobile devices and tablets.
The Strategic Project Performance Measurement Panel also provides many advantages, including printing of periodic reports and the encountered obstacles, also the presentation of new initiatives, projects and strategic objectives.
For his part, the Director General of MCI Office of realizing the Kingdom’s Vision 2030, Engr. Hisham Al-Hassoun, expressed his thanks and appreciation for the Minister’s patronage and support of this initiative. He extended his thanks to all those concerned in MCI System, since their support contributed to this success by making MCI the first government authority to implement an integrated electronic system supporting the smart devices for following up the initiatives of the Kingdom’s Vision Office, through this advanced method.
Engr. Al-Hassoun confirmed that launching such electronic systems is to support, speed up and follow-up the performance and achievement of MCI initiatives and objectives, as well as to provide sufficient support for those working in such initiatives, since this e-panel provides monitoring and follow-up tools linked to the initiatives’ timetables.
