This is during the Saudi-Turkish Business & Investment Forum, Held in Istanbul
In the presence of H.E. the Minister of Commerce and Investment, Dr. Majid bin Abdullah Al Qasabi and H.E. the Turkish Economy Minister Nihad Zibekji, the Saudi-Turkish Business & Investment Forum is held today in Istanbul, Turkey, attended by a number of Saudi and Turkish businessmen. This forum aims to enhance the trade and economic cooperation between the two brotherly countries.
During H.E. speech, Dr. Al-Qassabi stressed the depth of the historic relations between Saudi Arabia and Turkey, which witnessed a remarkable development at all levels during the last period. Turkey is an important strategic partner of the Kingdom at all levels, foremost of which are economy and commerce. H.E. refers to the importance of exchanging visits and meetings among business sectors in the two countries, as well as creating investment opportunities to push the trade relations towards wider fields.
H.E. Dr. Al Qasabi stresses the role of the private sector in the two countries, since it is a key partner in the development process. The private sector can create more trade opportunities, as well as support and encourage quality and joint investment that may enhance the cooperation between the two countries.
H.E. Stresses the importance of promoting trade cooperation between the two countries. This is based on the great care and directives of the leaderships of the two countries to support the efforts for strengthening and enhancing the trade relations between the two brotherly countries.
For his part, H.E. the Turkish Economy Minister, Nihad Zibekji, expressed his pleasure for holding this forum, which emphasizes the depth of trade relations between the two countries, stressing the importance of Saudi-Turkish integration in the economic and development fields.
H. E. the Turkish Minister hailed and praised the huge development projects launched by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, especially Nuom project, ( the Destination of the Future), which will turn the Kingdom into a leading model in various aspects of life, and it would create more investment opportunities in very advanced and creative ways, adding that this project will have huge and positive effects on economy on the whole region, besides attracting large capitals and investments.
