MCI to Receive WCO Certificate of Merit, on Jan. 26

​The Ministry of Commerce and Industry (MCI) will receive, on next Saturday, the Certificate of Merit of the World Customs Organization, in appreciation of its role for facilitating as well as enhancing procedures and regulations, to promote trade.
 
The awarding of the certificate will take place, in a ceremony held by the Saudi Customs to remark the World Customs Day, which falls on Jan. 26, in Riyadh.
 
Winning the certificate, for the Year 2013, is a testimonial of MCI efforts exerted, in the previous years, to boost trade movement, in line with its perception of trade as a leverage to achieve economic development objectives and its positive return on improving incomes and raising the living standard of the citizens.
