During the period from 20 to 27 Ramadan, MC inspection teams in Hail have carried out 1500 inspection tours on the outlets selling zakat al-Fitr items, clothing stores and Eid supplies, sweets and gift shops, gold and jewelry stores, which attract lots of consumers during the current occasion of Eid Al Fitr.
MC inspection tours aim at ensuring the continuity of the work of the commercial establishments in providing their services to the consumers, in light of the precautionary measures applied to combat Covid-19, besides monitoring the functioning of the food supply chains, and verifying compliance of the outlets and shops with the consumer protection regulation.
MC inspectors in Hail have released 82 violation notices during these inspection tours, and the necessary legal measures have been taken against the violators.
MC inspection tours revealed the abundance of basic commodities and consuming products, as well as their alternatives, especially the goods and products that the consumers desire to buy on the occasion of Eid Al-Fitr. The tours also showed that the work in these establishments is running smoothly in terms of abundance of goods, stock and the flow of food supplies.
