The Ministry of Commerce announced that the Ramadan sales season runs from 23 March 2023 to 21 April 2023.
Physical and online stores can apply electronically for a Ramadan discount license, with no impact on the remaining annual discount balance, according to the Ministry.
Conveniently, businesses can get a seasonal license online. The service allows them not to use up their electronic discount balance and also print their license easily. It helps curb fraudulent and bogus practices while promoting a healthy business environment.
