The Ministry of Commerce has announced a recall of 201 Mercedes Actros trucks because the accelerator pedal may fail and cause the engine to stop abruptly, increasing the risk of accidents.
The recall covered 2022 models only.
The Ministry urged owners of recalled truck models to immediately contact the local auto authorized agent, Ibrahim Al-Jaffali for Industrial Equipment Company, and perform the latest update to ensure their safety and exercise their rights.
The Ministry advised truck owners to check whether their vehicle's chassis number is covered by the recall campaign by visiting Recalls.sa, then to get in touch with the said company to arrange for a free update.
