The Ministry of Commerce has levied a fine of 50,000 Saudi Riyals on a car dealership located in Khamis Mushait for failing to supply spare parts within the 14-day period mandated by law for parts that are rarely ordered.

During standard monitoring rounds, the Ministry's inspection teams identified a breach by the dealership against the regulations governing commercial agencies, which include provisions for warranty, maintenance, and the supply of spare parts. The specific violation was the failure to provide spare parts within the legally required timeframe. Following this discovery, the case was promptly referred to the appropriate authority overseeing commercial agency violations, which then undertook a review of the inspection report, technical assessments, and the dealership's response.

Subsequently, the committee in charge imposed a fine of 50,000 Riyals on the dealership as per the guidelines and regulations of the Commercial Agencies Law.
