Minister of Commerce and Industry Dr. TAWFIG FAWZAN ALRABIAH, met here today with visiting French Minister of Industry Arnaud Montebourg and accompanying delegation.
During the meeting, they discussed aspects of bilateral cooperation, in all commercial and industrial fields, as well, in addition to means to enhance and promote them, between the two friendly countries.
France is an important trade partner to the Kingdom, as their volume of trade exchange stood at SR 43 billion, in 2011. Saudi exports to France recorded about SR 25 billion, against nearly SR 18 billion for imports.
The meeting was attended by the Undersecretary of the Ministry for Foreign Trade Dr. Mohammed bin Hamad Al-Kathiri and French Ambassador to the Kingdom Bertrand Besancenot.
