MCI, Defaming a Citizen Condemned of Commercial Concealment by Enabling an Expat to Work for his Own Account in the Field of Plumbing and Electricity, against a Monthly Payment of SR 900

​The first online election of the boards of directors of the Chambers of Commerce and industry in Arar, Northern Region, concluded today evening. 2,429 male and female voters participated in the 10th Session to choose the members of the Board of Directors of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Arar, without the need to attend the polling station.


According to the final results, the percentage of participants in  Arar online Chamber of Commerce elections increased by 396% , compared to the last 9th session, where only 490 voters participated.

Winners of the merchant category in the Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Arar, Northern Region, are as follows: Musa Abdullah Mayouf Al Onaizi, Sultan Khalaf Haza'a Al Onaizi, Nawaf Meza'l Sultan Al Zayedi, Issa Mayouf Abdullah Al Onaizi, Shayesh Awad Khenaifis Al Onaizi, A'fit Alyan Thuwaini Al-Ruwaili, while winners from industrialists are: Salih Muhammad Salih Al-Khulaiwi and Imad Sadiq Yousef Al-Muhammad.

 It is worth mentioning that the Ministry of Commerce and Investment adopted online voting, aiming at facilitating and easing the procedures for male and female voters, and for developing the method of voting from manual to electronic, so the voters don't have to attend the polling station. They can vote through the following a unified link for all Chambers of Commerce: Voting.mci.gov.sa . This is to save the time and efforts of voters. 

This procedure contributed to the increase of voters and saving budgets needed for organizing the elections, besides saving the time and efforts of voters.

This service comes as part of a series of MCI e-services, aiming at increasing the number of voters in the chambers of commerce and industry, developing business and procedures for the private sector, eliminating any obstacles that may hinder the expansion of the commercial sector in the Kingdom, and applying technology to serve the national economy.
