The Ministry`s initiative reflects the importance of this growing activity globally, it comes as well to keep pace with the current developments and changes taking place in our world, as the Ministry gives special attention and care for the entrepreneurs and those interested in e-commerce activities by facilitating the procedures of issuing e-commercial registration as well as by reviewing the available commercial activities periodically.

It is worth mentioning that the Ministry of Commerce and Industry has already launched an awareness campaign to introduce the national directory for economic activities "ISIC4" (International Standard Industrial Classification of All Economic Activities Rev.4) in July 2015 AD, which included a number of activities related to engagement in e-commerce, where the encoding had been applied in its first phase on the CR of the individual Est. then the companies were followed in the second phase. This national directory contains more than 2,800 economic activities, and it allows specifying the encoding of the economic activities precisely, depending on the international standards and classifications issued by the United Nations Organization.
