Dr. Majid Abdullah Al-Qasabi, Minister of Commerce, issued a decision appointing seven members to the Jeddah Chamber of Commerce's Board of Directors. The members are: Mohammed Yousef Mohammed Naghi, Samer Ibrahim Yousef Kordi, Raed Ibrahim Sulaiman Almedaihim, Osama Zakariya Mohammed Jamjoom, Yaser Mohammed Salih Baharith, Amna Tariq Ibrahim Zahid, and Lulu’a Mohammed Abdulkarim Bakr during the 23rd session of the Chamber's Board of Directors, which runs for four years 1444 H - 1448 H.
With this appointment, the Board of Directors of the Chamber now has the required fourteen members to constitute a quorum (seven appointed members and seven winners).
According to the Minister's resolution, the forthcoming Board session of the Jeddah Chamber should be made up of both appointed and elected members. They are: Saad Mes’hel Nimr Alotaibi, Fahd Abdulaziz Abduldayem Alqethami, Majid Mohl Wasl Albogami, Majid Salim Hindi Alharbi, Majid Mohammed Aqel Alharbi, Emad Mohammed Fahd Alobood and Abdullah Radda Maeedh Alharthi.
The elections for the Jeddah Chamber of Commerce were held in accordance with the new Chambers of Commerce Law, which promotes transparency and increases the efficiency of the chambers’ performance while also activating their role in supporting the local economy.
