The Ministry of Commerce, Tabuk Branch Carries out 335 Inspection Rounds to monitor the availability and abundance of Commodities and Food Stocks, 321 Reports are Received and Necessary Action is Taken

The Ministry of Commerce, Tabuk branch has carried out 335 inspection tours to verify the availability and abundance of commodities and food stocks. Meanwhile, 321 reports and complaints are received, related to exaggeration in prices and e-payment systems, necessary action has been taken in that regard. 

The inspection tours included the warehouses of commodities, food products, consumables, outlets, red and white meat shops, vegetables and fruits markets, bakeries and petrol stations.

The Ministry’s inspectors monitored an abundance of the necessary food supplies and commodities and the availability of sufficient stock to meet the market need, besides stability in prices.

The inspection tours included, Tayma Governorate, Haqel, Duba, Al-Wajh, Umluj, Al-Bida’a, Bir Bin Hermas Center, Halat Ammar, Ashwaq, Al-Zaita, and the affiliate centers and villages.

The Ministry of Commerce urges all consumers to report and lodge their complaints against the violating establishments and outlets through the Consumer Call Center (1900), or through the application of a Commercial Violation Report, or via the Ministry's website.
