The Saudi - Portuguese joint committee begins its third session today in Riyadh

The Saudi- Portuguese joint committee holds its third session, that will last for two days starting on Tuesday, 17 Muharram 1438 AH, corresponding to October 18, 2016, in Riyadh, to increase the volume of trade exchange between the two countries and promote bilateral cooperation. The session will highlight the most prominent investment opportunities to achieve the objectives of the Saudi Vision 2030.
 
The joint committees will discuss the means of increasing the cooperation between the private sectors in the field of industry, modern technology, software applications, solar energy, research and technology, nanotechnology, knowledge industry, the future of energy, health, agriculture, fisheries, and others in the two countries.
 
It is scheduled that the Saudi - Portuguese joint committee will conclude its session on Wednesday with the meeting of the Minister of Trade and Investment, Dr. Majid bin Abdullah Al-Qasabi, and the Minister of Defense Dr. José Alberto Azeredo Lopes.

It is worth mentioning that the trade exchange volume between Saudi Arabia and the Portuguese Republic reached 3543 million riyals in the year 2015.
