H.E. Dr. Majid Abdullah Al-Qasabi, Minister of Commerce and Industry, has issued a resolution appointing an interim board of directors for the Najran Chamber of Commerce. The four members of the board are: Badr Homood Mejil Al-Faraj, Bandar Mahdi Hussein Al-Shetaiwi, Ali Misfer Saleh Lasloom, and Hadi Hamad Hadi Al-Yami.
According to the resolution, the interim board will carry out the functions of the Board of Directors in accordance with the laws and regulations in effect as of the date of issue on 19 Safar 1444 H until a ministerial resolution appointing a board for the next session has been issued.
The resolution also called for the Board's Chairman and his two Deputies to be elected at the interim board's first meeting.
His Excellency the Minister of Commerce issued an order terminating the membership of two members of the Najran Chamber of Commerce's Board of Directors and dissolving the entire Board after it exceeded the limits of its powers, disrupting the Chamber's work and rendering it unable to perform its functions.
