MCI, The Electronic Trademark Service has won the Award of "Achievement" in the Promotion of the National Economy

MCI has won in the ceremony of "Achievement" for e-Government in its third session, organized by the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology, an Award for strengthening the National Economy, for the service of Trademark Registration Electronically. This service is considered one of the innovative services offered by MCI to its customers through its website, where the application of trademark registration is filled, and then it is checked and published electronically, this service enables the owner of the trademark to register his trademark in a maximum period of 7 days only, and then to be published immediately on the Ministry's website, while this process would take before 240 days, and publishing the trademark might take 180 days in the past.

MCI pointed out that after the development of this service, the trademark registration ratio has increased up to 47%. This increase is due to the ease and speed of e-service procedures, which helps in protecting the rights of business owners and the owners of trademarks. 

It is worth mentioning as well that MCI has got other Awards in the ceremony of “Achievement” for the electronic dealings, in the same session, in the Award branch for providing “Better Service” to the community members through the beneficiaries service systems of the Consumer Notification Center (1900), and the Consolidated Call Center for business and industry sector (920 000 667), as well as the Ministry won the award for the best application via smart devices through the  application of "Commercial Notification "
