MCI launches a campaign entitled " Register your Trademark " to raise awareness of the importance of trademark registration , after providing the electronic service which is the first of its kind in the Middle East to facilitate the registration process for the companies, individuals or agents, in order to preserve the rights of the owners of those trademarks , and to give more commercial safety and earn the trust of the consumer, which will be reflected positively in developing and facilitating the business environment in the Kingdom.
MCI pointed out that the registration of trademarks preserves the right of the trademark owner in case it has been used by others, stressing that MCI has been applying, within the inspection campaigns, the strict statutory procedures against those imitating or misusing the registered trademarks.
MCI calls on all businessmen to register their trademarks at the Ministry of Commerce and Industry, through the electronic services in the Ministry's website:

It is worth mentioning that the MCI has reduced the duration of the trademark registration from 232 days to a maximum of 7 days with the possibility of publishing the trademark directly and electronically.
