In its Q3 2023 business sector report, the Ministry of Commerce highlighted a significant 45% surge in registered businesses for electronic platform-based delivery services, marking considerable growth in this sector.
The report provided an in-depth look at the statistics, noting an increase to 3,024 registered businesses in this category by Q3 2023, a substantial leap from the 2,084 registrations reported in the same quarter of the previous year.
Riyadh leads the regions with the highest number of registrations, boasting 1,645 businesses, followed closely by Makkah with 775. The Eastern region comes in third with 291 registrations, while Madinah and Qassim show a steadier presence, contributing 83 and 61 registrations, respectively.
